This month’s featured employee is Alex Petrowski, Product Marketing Manager.
What is your role at Questis and how long have you been on the team?
I’m the Product Marketing Manager at Questis and coming up on my one year anniversary in March.
What is your favorite part about working at Questis?
The culture! The Questis team has truly shaped a culture of inclusivity, openmindedness, and forward thinking. I appreciate working in a space where creativity and innovation is embraced.
What is your “Why”?
My personal “why” is living up to my own definition of what financial empowerment means to me. From addressing certain money taboos to learning the ins-and-outs of personal finance basics (you know, the things they don’t teach in school), I’ve found my own sense of what financial empowerment looks and feels like. Thanks to the help of Questis, our plentiful resources, and our coaches!
And being genuinely called to the Questis mission, ‘Financial Empowerment for Everyone’, I want to help bring that into fruition as best as I can.
What is the most interesting thing about you that your colleagues would be surprised to know?
I’m a small business owner! I advocate for female body empowerment and healing through hormone health products.
What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
New experiences. Whether that be trying out a new restaurant or immersing myself in different cultures through travels, it’s money well spent. Oh, and I love spoiling my dog.
What are your personal and/or professional goals for the year?
I’m saving up to purchase my first house. And I plan to utilize the land to grow fruits & vegetables and to be a home for rescue animals.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life what would it be?
Anything plant-based, but if I had to choose… Tacos! You could have plenty of variations without feeling like you’re actually eating the same meal for the rest of your life. Plus, who doesn’t love a good taco?
